Cross Country

The Park has two cross country courses – the East Course (aka “the derby field”) closer to stabling and the West Course which is a short hack away on conservation land.
East Course’s 15 acres of lightly wooded and varied terrain include permanent water, bank and ditch obstacles and portable cross country jumps from Starter through Training-Prelim level. We continue to limb up and clear trees for more open space and alternative routes. Throughout the season, the East Course is available for camps/clinics and schooling activities – advance reservations required. Download our form here.

The West Course, on an adjacent 110 acre parcel of lightly wooded conservation land, includes an international-caliber water complex comprised of two ponds, a sunken road, mound, coffin, and many other obstacles for Training and Preliminary levels. The Park has perpetual rights to use this property for horse trials and other organized activities for limited time periods; the West Course is occasionally available for schooling with advance notice.

THE INTERMEDIATE LEVEL COURSE WILL BE BUILT IN TIME FOR EI’S FALL HORSE TRIALS
