Thank you to all who attended this event in May. It was a great weekend full of learning experiences and fun for all! Look for this event to return early in the season in 2016. If you missed out, you can still read more about what you missed...
Update 5/21: Entry deadline extended to Monday, May 25 via e-mail. Please e-mail your entries to email@example.com and plan to pay when you check in at the event. Please review our Experience Eventing FAQ sheet for answers to some common questions.
Update 4/13: We're thrilled to have Jordan Linstedt as our guest speaker at Saturday's BBQ dinner. Jordan will just be back from Rolex and will share her experiences competing there and at other top-level events around the world. We also have Lisa Boyer as our dressage instructor on Friday and Saturday. Fran O'Reilly will be our dressage judge for Sunday's CT. XC Course walks will be held by Todd Trewin, Meika Decher and Fran O'Reilly. Remember, this is a FUN, low-key event that is designed to be flexible - structure your weekend in whatever way works best for you! If you need help navigating the entry form, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Come join us the last weekend in May for a weekend of eventing activities suitable for all riders (Starter through Preliminary)! With the EI Horse Trials not offering Starter level, we really wanted to provide an event that would allow lower level riders/horses a safe, fun way to get out and Experience Eventing.
Friday and Saturday will have opportunities to learn and practice with dressage lessons, ride and review, stadium schooling rounds and XC schooling on both courses. On Sunday, you can choose to compete in a Combined Test (dressage and XC) or continue your schooling. You can mix and match your entry to participate in whichever activities you wish, on any of the days. This is one of the few chances you'll get to ride on the XC competition course, which is only open for limited dates during the season.
