TRAILathalon

A WSHP Original - Back by Popular Demand

What exactly is a "Trail-athalon," you ask? It's a unique competition at the Washington State Horse Park that tests the horse and rider's abilities in three obstacle disciplines: Mountain Trail Obstacle, Arena Trail Course and Open Trail.
Each rider begins in the arena obstacle course, progresses through a one mile open trail with obstacles, and finishes in the mountain trail course. Each obstacle is judged on the willingness, confidence and coordination of the horse.
First rider goes out at 10:30 am on Sunday.
Ribbons to 6th place. Prize for 1st.
Varying levels of difficulty. Greenhorn class, easy/moderate. Wiley Coyote, moderate/difficult. In Hand (with an abbreviated open-trail!).
$40 entry fee.
Check out our Kick it Up! clinics for additional opportunities to hone your skills - or just try your luck! Either way - it's going to be FUN!
